Laboratory for Synthetic Chemistry and Chemical Biology Limited Hong Kong SAROn-site Full Time 3 - 5 Year Associate Applications are invited for appointment as postdoctoral fellow (Ref. PDF-2025-01) in the Laboratory for Synthetic Chemistry and Chemical Biology Limited (the Laboratory) located at Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP), to commence as soon as possible on a 1-year contract basis, with the possibility of renewal. Established as a research unit in HKSTP, the Laboratory integrates chemical science and biomedical science for the development of new molecular medicines, diagnostic tools and immunotherapeutic approaches for the treatment of human diseases with a focus on cancer. Applicants should possess a Ph. D. degree in Biological or Chemical Science, or any related discipline. They should have good research experience and publications in molecular biology, cell biology, bioimaging and/or animal studies. Those who have research experience in cancer research and drug discovery from natural products would have an advantage. Applicants should be self-driven, able to work independently as well as in a team, and bring new expertise to the research programme. The appointee will conduct projects related to discovery and mechanistic studies of novel anticancer compounds in a well-equipped and interactive laboratory. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
