Vice President of Information Technology | Leading FSIJob Summary The Vice President of Information Technology will report to the CEO and will be responsible for the strategic development and management of the organization's IT systems and infrastructure. Core Responsibilities Craft and execute IT strategies that support the organization's goals and streamline operations. Manage and mentor a team of IT experts, encouraging high performance and continuous skill development. Collaborate with different departments to assess their IT needs and deliver customized technological solutions. Oversee the establishment and maintenance of internal IT systems, ensuring security and reliability in daily operations. Lead IT infrastructure projects, including upgrades and migrations, ensuring thorough architectural assessments. Guarantee the availability of efficient IT support services to quickly resolve technical issues and minimize service interruptions. Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring prudent procurement of technology and services. Foster relationships with technology vendors, negotiate agreements, and manage IT projects to align with organizational goals and standards. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to ensure adherence to IT governance and data security regulations while supporting future initiatives. Formulate disaster recovery and business continuity plans to mitigate the impact of IT disruptions. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.10-15 years of relevant experience in IT, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the financial services sector or related infrastructure is preferred. Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical ideas to various audiences. Ability to work effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying and implementing effective solutions. A proactive attitude towards recognizing opportunities for improvement and innovation within IT. Flexibility to adapt to evolving technologies and changing business needs.
