Senior Procurement Manager, IT Procurement Your new company Our client is a leading prominent corporate organization in Hong Kong. They are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Procurement Manager who's focusing on IT procurement. This role is crucial in managing the IT procurement team, assisting in the launch of several new IT projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency, and experience in handling PRC IT vendors is essential. Your new role Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT categories, including software, hardware, and IT services, with a focus on supporting new IT projects. Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure the best value and service for ongoing and upcoming IT initiatives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide procurement support, particularly for new IT projects. Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Manage vendor relationships in the PRC (People's Republic of China), ensuring compliance with local regulations and optimizing procurement processes. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in IT procurement, particularly with PRC vendors. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in procurement.
