As a Building Services Manager reporting to the Operations Director, you will work closely with the rest of the Data Centre Operations team, making an impact in a number of ways:Responsibility for physical security operations on site, managing the 24x7x365 outsourced security personnel teamContract management of all soft services, including cleaning, gardening and grounds maintenanceExternal space general maintenance including building envelope, grounds and perimeter security, common areas (kitchen, break rooms and meeting rooms) and customer and AirTrunk office and storage areasPlease note this role will be predominantly based in our data centre in Hong Kong.Your Day to Day

Be customer-facing to ensure that customer security requirements are understood and delivered with a high degree of customer serviceResponsible for the management of outsourced security teamSupport the Operations Director in the management of physical security incidents at the propertyFacilitate emergency responses procedures, resource coordination, root cause analysis and post-event remediationCoordinate security clearance requirements for core facility staffHandle all soft services at the facility, such as cleaning, waste, landscaping, pest control, hydraulics, handyman repairs, and any other front-of-house facilities; lifts, gates, roller shutters etc.Establish and maintain agreements for services listed above, including setting critical metrics that are in compliance with AirTrunk and industry standardsConduct regular property inspections to ensure overall cleanliness, upkeep and curb appealResponsible for the coordination of the data centre’s loading dockResponsible for customers’ requests regarding their office or storage areasEnsure change management processes are rigorously adhered to as required and work with internal teams to ensure complianceAssists in the delivery of various accreditation initiatives, including, but not limited to, ISMS, SOC2, PCI-DSSMaintain compliance with local regulatory requirements including environmental, building, hydraulic, environmental health & safetyResponsible for coordination and management of AirTrunk onsite offices and meeting room facilitiesAssist in the PO process to ensure adherence to financial control proceduresRequirements

5+ years of experience in facilities, security operations, or front-of-houseSuccessfully managed 3rd party service providers; setting and managing important metrics, negotiating contracts and pricing for servicesOpex budget management experienceMentored or trained junior staffExperience developing or implementing business processesFamiliar with working with Customer Portals, and at the user level on Security networks (ex accessing CCTV archive data)Familiar with local regulations and standardsGeneral knowledge in general building and security system repair & maintenance and health and safetyIncredibly flexible and forward-thinking and motivated by changeYou excel at communication; you can deliver effective presentations to your key team members and managementThe AirTrunk Culture
