Minimum Qualifications:Graduate or Postgraduate, with prior work experience in market research, journalism/communications, finance, language/translation, and/or consulting.Fluent in Mandarin and English . Strong English language written and verbal skills a must - should be able to listen to calls in Chinese and output English typed notes with simultaneous, real-time translation.Familiarity with primary research methods.Capable of project management and external outreach, strong communication skills.Able to conduct Q&A interviews with company management and industry experts.Strong note-taking ability and ability to capture detail.Ability to learn quickly and independently, with an entrepreneurial mindset.Strong time management skills and ability to follow through with high work quality and consistency of effort.High integrity.General understanding, awareness and interest in financial markets and company analysis.Openness to being mentored and given constructive feedback.Key Responsibilities:Participating in group expert network calls and company investor calls, with strong note-taking skills. Capable of writing summaries that distill the key takeaways of such calls, questionnaires, focus groups. Basic data analysis associated with the information output.Sourcing experts in key sectors of interest for FACT. Capable of building and qualifying primary populations of topic experts relevant to our investment themes.Engaging in secondary research from available sources.Assisting with financial models.Location:Analyst must be able to work China/HK/India market hours and be able to attend meetings in China/HK.Work is coordinated remotely with a team that is primarily based in NYC, with a lot of flexibility and overlap.Seniority Level:
