Perform pre-service check before operating the trainOperate passenger train (heavy rail / light rail) in accordance with timetables to provide high quality customer servicesCoordinate with the Operations Control Centre to handle train defects or incidents to ensure safe and reliable train operationsRequirements

Grade E / Level 2 / “Attained” or above in 5 subjects of HKCEE / HKDSE, including English LanguageGood command of spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua or other languages is an advantageCustomer-centric mindset, effective and empathetic communication skills and the ability to handle incidents independentlyPossession of a valid Hong Kong driving licence class 1 is mandatory for Train Captain-Light Rail positionRemarks

Required to perform shift duties on irregular patterns of hours with an estimated average monthly income of HK$22,000 (including the shift duty related allowance*, laundry allowance, 13th month pay and annual discretionary award)Reporting for duty during adverse weather will be eligible for related allowancesThe above position offers a Joining Bonus of HK$12,000, subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant programme (*subject to actual shift duties performed)Applications
