Our client is a Hong Kong-listed conglomerate on 5B+ market capitalization, with committed growth plan and acquisition pipelines in the consumer and healthcare sector. We are working with the Chairman and CEO on a CFO search, a pivotal role to oversee the group financial strategies and provide financial insights to support major business decisions and growth projects. This is a key leadership position that requires a deep understanding in corporate finance and capital market with public companies and help our client to deliver mission critical corporate initiatives in the Greater China marketplace. An excellent career opportunity for talents with strong entrepreneurship, agility, and growth mindset.Job Responsibilities:Act as a strategic partner to the Chairman and CEO, providing financial insights and recommendations to support the organization's short- and long-term goals.Manage the group capital markets strategy, capital structure, transaction management and overall financial position to support growth and sustainability.Oversee the finance and accounting teams, providing leadership, setting priorities, and ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of all financial functions.Lead financial due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.Perform in-depth risk analysis, evaluating the organization's liabilities, investments, and cash/liquidity positions to inform investment and financing strategies.Optimize cash flow management to ensure the organization's financial operations are sufficiently funded.Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as vendors, lawyers, auditors, and investment bankers, to support the company's financial activities.Review and validate the accuracy and reliability of financial reports, forecasts, and other data-driven insights to inform decision-making.Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the company's financial and related IT systems to enhance data-driven capabilities and streamline processes.Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal control policies, mitigating legal and financial risks.Establish and enforce internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions, budget preparation, and other financial processes.Responsible for tax planning and optimization throughout the fiscal year.Requirement:Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA/CFA qualification preferred.Minimum 10 years of experience in a finance leadership role with a focus on IPOs and public company financial management.Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and stock exchange reporting requirements.Candidate from capital market background with strong connection in Hong Kong and Mainland China is preferred.Demonstrated success in developing and executing financial strategies to drive business growth.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment preferred.Fluency in Mandarin and English is a MUST.Seniority level
