International Tax Manager / Senior Manager

My client is experiencing tremendous demand in the region and is seeking Manager or Senior Manager level candidates to join their Tax Practice. The position, based in Hong Kong, will focus on building, leading, and executing the delivery of BEPS 2.0 projects throughout the region.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting in delivering BEPS-related advisory services to clients, including but not limited to:Advising on the implications of BEPS 2.0 for existing and future business operating models.Analyzing tax structures and developing strategies that align with BEPS 2.0 Pillar Two Rules and implementation requirements.Conducting risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance with BEPS 2.0 regulations.Identifying opportunities to enhance efficiencies across projects and the region, leveraging technology where possible.Monitoring international tax developments related to BEPS 2.0 and providing thought leadership and insights for the region.Collaborating with tax teams across the region, including transfer pricing teams, to ensure pricing policies adhere to BEPS 2.0 compliance.Engaging in business development activities, client workshops, and seminars.Taking ownership of developing and delivering training for both clients and internal staff on BEPS 2.0 developments.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field.Ideally 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably within a professional services or consulting firm, or in a commercial environment, advising on international tax matters.A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and challenging work environment.Strong writing, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.Confidence in delivering complex tax concepts to clients and stakeholders.A positive attitude and a strong motivation to learn.Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Willingness to travel as required.Seniority level
