What the role is?Lead pricing projects independently. By using the pricing experience and knowledge, try to create higher values to the company by balancing the product competitiveness, financial and risk.Guide and coach junior staff on product and pricing related work. Review pricing result, pricing paper and provide valuable opinions.Design and price new products with appropriate assumptions/ methods/ guidelines. Consider the pros/cons of different approaches of pricing/calculation/assumption setting and draw a good conclusion. Assist supervisor in reviewing guidelines/policies.Negotiate with reinsurer regarding new product reinsurance.Liaise with other teams for product related projects.Review User Requirement ("UR") and solution document for system implementation of new product and day 2 projects.Perform ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisor.Raise recommendation and propose the risk mitigation if there is key product risk.Ensure full compliance of the company internal policy during pricing work among the team.Develop the team members to optimize the team performance.What we look for?Degree holder, with fellowship of recognized Actuarial Societies or Institutes.Minimum 10 years actuarial working experience and 3-4 years managerial experience.Experience of independently leading pricing projects of different product types.Experience of RBC or IFRS 17 is an advantage.Good actuarial, analytical and problem solving skills.Good skills of communication/ presentation/ coaching/ management.Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
