We are currently looking for a junior engineer to work on various internal systems and IT support for buy-side hedge funds. Your work will include implementing and maintaining various IT services, automation, and providing IT support to our desks. The role is ideal for a candidate with strong technical knowledge and management skills who is interested in working in a highly competitive and fast-growing firm. Job Responsibilities: Supports and ensures smooth operation of the IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, cloud services, web systems, databases, etc. Manage and coordinate with vendors to deliver professional IT services, such as system application & maintenance, website maintenance, and monitoring of information systems including Microsoft application & email enhancement. Solid experience with virtualization technologies, cloud infrastructures such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, encryption technology, and backup and recovery solutions. Establishing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure the robustness of the company's systems, networks, database, and automation pipelines. Requirements: Degree in computer science, financial engineering, Information Technology, or science-related fields.3-5 years of relevant experience in the financial industry with proven project implementation/system support/helpdesk experience. Excellent problem-solving skills, able to work independently and under pressure. Fluent in English and Chinese. Optional: Experience with trading desk support. Certificates in technical fields (CCNA, ITIL, Azure, etc.). Python/SQL/Shell Script. Experience with Data Center and Network Management.
