Developing and testing embedded spacecraft flight softwareIntegration of software with aircraft hardware componentsDiagnose, debug and solve issues to meet production milestonesSupporting the software development and integration for mission planning, aircraft operation, and data processing systemsSupport Hardware and software integration in an Agile development environmentPerforming simulation and hardware-in-the-loop testingWorking in a team environment as well as individuallySupporting design reviews and other customer-facing meetingsTake on additional duties and responsibilities within XDynamics as part of a small, engaged, and proactive team.Required Qualifications

At least 4 years' experience in embedded software development/verificationDevelopment experience with real-time embedded softwareAbility to write clear, well-tested, well-documented softwareIn-depth knowledge of the C coding language. Strong C/C++ development experienceExperience with aspects of the software life cycle process including planning, decomposition of system requirements to high-level software requirements, low-level requirements, architecture, code, verification, and certificationExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalHardworking, dependable, self-directed, and self-disciplinedExcellent time management and multitasking skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skills. Must be able to describe problems and solutions in a clear, concise manner.Regulated industry experience such as Aerospace / Avionics / SpaceProblem solving, well organized and detail-orientedRequired Education & Experience:

B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math or Physics with significant computer science coursework. Advanced degree desired.At least 4 years of relevant work experience, including development in C++ in real-time embedded systems.Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.Ability to sit and use a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.Ability to speak, read and write in English.Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.Application Questions
