THE COMPANY : European trading & sourcing office Main item: camping products like camping tents, rucksacks, camping furniture, etc. Main markets: Europe, Italy, France, and South America Key customers: retailers, hypermarkets, specialty stores, DIY and garden centres We are looking for SENIOR MERCHANDISER - with details as follows: THE JOB : Report to Merchandising Manager Work in Merchandising team of 4 members Perform daily merchandising & sourcing role Attend fairs and exhibitions for sourcing new items with appropriate cost and quality Source new suppliers and new products Maintain good business relationships with current suppliers Negotiate costs: commercial terms, marketing budget and samples, price and others Manage order placing & order follow up Ensure orders quality assurance in terms of constructional check by laboratory and finished goods inspection Deal with quality discussions with suppliers and coordinate with internal quality department Coordinate orders' logistics issues and check forwarders for shipment Coordinate closely with the Merchandising Manager and overseas buyers Communicate with Technical Laboratory (3rd parties) and own in-house Quality control team Coordinate with Quality control and provide correct information for finished goods inspection5+ years stable merchandising experience in any consumer products / hardlines Experience in camping products is a plus Experience in camping tents, rucksacks, camping furniture is a big plus Good communication skills in English, Chinese, Cantonese & Mandarin Occasional China trips when required5 days work (Mon to Fri 9:00am-5:30pm)Annual leave: 14 days13 months salary + performance bonus Medical, life & accident insurance TO APPLY for this job or similar jobs: Please attach your CV with salary expected to resume@jpc.hk JPC Recruiting Services was established in 1990.
