The Client Account Specialist oversees all aspects of client account billing support and provides assistance to Client Account Managers and Client Account Supervisors as required. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Position Responsibilities:Oversee all billing functions for assigned attorneys, including distribution, logging, preparation, processing, and mailing of client invoices.Offer prompt and accurate support to attorneys, clients, and staff to resolve billing issues through analysis and adjustments.Enter financial arrangements into the accounting system.Submit invoices for electronic billing.Provide guidance and training to new billing attorneys as needed.Investigate all inquiries related to past and current billing.Organize and prepare the previous month's billing for electronic scanning.Establish and maintain the client and matter database.Review and summarize engagement letters related to special financial agreements.Implement and maintain unique fee and cost rate structures.Skills and Experience:Required:Demonstrate proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage, and other relevant applications following orientation.Previous experience in full-cycle billing and managing attorney assignments.Strong skills in Excel.Basic understanding of accounting principles.Fluent in English and Mandarin, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.Preferred:2+ years of relevant experience in billing principles, accounting, billing rates, and client maintenance procedures.Familiarity with 3E and electronic billing systems.Experience working in a law firm.Strong follow-through, attention to detail, initiative, and mathematical skills.Capable of fostering and maintaining positive attorney-client relationships.Professional attitude.Strong organizational, verbal, listening, and writing skills.Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines.Proficient in collaborating effectively with others, including co-workers and vendors.Seniority level
