Finance Director – Planning, Reporting & Governance, SEA (FMCG) (VW-FDFPRG27) Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Salary: Bonus Regional Finance Director – Financial Planning, Reporting & Governance (FMCG)This position is open to be based in HK or Singapore Our client is a world-leading FMCG business with a presence across the globe. We are currently seeking a seasoned finance leader for their Regional Finance team. In this role, you will support the Regional CFO and serve as a strategic business partner to the Regional CEO. Position Responsibilities Report to the Regional CFO and lead a Finance Manager Handle consolidation and review of financial management reporting activities for Operations within the region – which includes highlighting opportunities, challenges, foreseeable risks to the Operations Establish, track and monitor financial KPI's, so as to flag risks / highlight opportunities to course correct, and achieve the Finance specific KPI's and priorities Work with the Finance functions across operations to ensure the initiatives that were planned are getting implemented on time and provide support (benchmarking, insights) to the Operations in achieving the objectives Monitor financials as part of routine activities (ex: weekly forecasting, mid-year reviews and business planning), besides benchmarking financial performance with other franchise operations on an ongoing basis Work with the operations to track and monitor implementation of management action plans (MAP) arising from audits conducted by Group Internal Audit (GIAD). Review the self-assessment process associated with annual Internal Control Self-Assessment activity and call-out any inconsistencies Business Improvement - streamline accounting policies and improve the finance related business processes Propose recommendation based on benchmarking activities and ensure actions are implemented, with the objective to drive revenue growth and margin improvement Establish and implement agreed guidelines to control Discounts (DFR) and manage costs Financial benchmark and lay out milestone to achieve the company's 2033 ambition (2x Revenue and 3x Profit vs. 2022). Overseas travelling is required within APAC region Position Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent10+ years of finance experience with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership experience, handling FP&A and Business Partnering roles. Prior Finance leadership experience in FMCG industry is a MUST-HAVEQualified member of a Recognized Professional Institute of Accountants (i.e. HKICPA, ICEAW, ACCA or equivalent)A strategic leader with strong business sense, leadership and execution skills Having a growth mindset - Always be thinking of how to improve processes to be more efficient Excellent knowledge of taxation & accounting Knowledge of SAP is an advantage Willingness and ability to take data / analytics / facts-based decisions Detailed orientated, logical and analytical mindset Good crisis management, problem solving and decision-making skills Able to communicate effectively with internal team and business partners Excellent interpersonal and communication skill Working across the matric of center, region & market and across functions Able to drive transformation and change in the team Project management and change management experience Fluency in English is essential Interested individuals can apply now.
