Position Summary

The Senior Professional will assist in implementing a robust Social Sustainability Assessment Program to help drive continuous improvement on working condition for supply chain and to assure the quality work and develop capacity building activities for social compliance assessors and Management Action Plan(MAP) service providers. The Senior Professional will also provide clerical, research, analytical and administrative support in the assigned regions and will directly work with sourcing team, suppliers, agents, and licensors/licensees to support supply chain sustainability performance targets monitoring and tracking.

Your Impact

Assessment Program Management: 
•    Support the team to develop the assessment strategy and optimize the assessment program including but not limited to UA own assessment protocol (UASATR), Social Labor Convergency Program (SLCP verification), Fair Labor Association assessment, Better Work Assessment
•    Schedule, track and communicate with third party audit firms on different types of social assessments throughout the supply chain
•    Manage the third-party auditing firms and audit quality control
Remediation and Capability Building: 
•    Work with sustainability team and service providers to manage the MAP/remediation process and ensure that all issues identified in MAPs are closed out timely
•    Assist social sustainability issues’ remediation by advising on options, negotiating timeframes, sharing experiences and best practices, and helping management locate the necessary expertise
Platform/system Management: 
•    Manage, maintain, and configure the platforms to support assessments and remediation, including cr360, myFLA, FFC, Wordly and Better Work Portal. 
Data Analysis and Visualization: 
•    Conduct data analysis of audit findings and country risks, to identify trends and appropriate preventive solutions for program development and implementation, which includes identifying suppliers for further focused training or coaching based on regular trends analysis and providing input internally on potential supply chain risk
•    Assist the Sustainability Director to build dashboard, scorecard and tools and produce reports to develop, forecast and report on overall program KPI’s and targets to internal business partners and suppliers
Operations:
•    Support the Sustainability Director on engaging with cross-functional working groups and teams
•    Write standard operating procedures and recommend process and organizational changes needed to advance key initiatives
•    Manage related programs' budget and invoicing process to facilitate the team's operation 

Qualifications

•    Superior data analysis and communications skills, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, experience with Tableau, Power BI and/or sustainability-specific data platforms
•    Excellent command of English as well as a second language (Fluency in Chinese important)
•    Solid system and processes management and organizational skills
•    Attention to detail and quality management
•    Strong interpersonal skills with an openness to receiving and giving constructive feedback
•    Flexible work style and an ability to adapt and respond quickly to shifting priorities, and to identify and propose solutions to related challenges
•    Certifications related to international labor standards/human rights and sustainability

Minimum BA/BS in Sustainability/CR/Human Rights Management 
•    Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with a proven record in human rights field, in-depth knowledge of labor, environmental, health and safety issues; social compliance auditing management experience preferable
